Michael joined American House senior Living Communities in 2018, and serves as President & COO. In this role, Michael is responsible for oversight and management of the operations function for American House.
Prior to joining the company, Michael served as president and COO for the nation’s largest lodging and food provider for the rail industry. There, he oversaw more than 80 hotels and restaurants in 22 states.
Michael has held increasingly senior executive positions with several national private and public high-growth firms. His past roles have included president of Paragon Hotels and Polaris Hotel Management, an award-winning, third-party management company he co-founded. He also served as COO of the country’s second largest marina owner and operator.
He received his Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration, as well an undergraduate degree in business from Vanderbilt University.
