Sage Cooley

Sage Cooley is a second-year MHA candidate in the Sloan Program in Health Administration. Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, she received her B.A. in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Following graduation, Sage gained experience in healthcare by working at a general surgeon’s office, where she learned the importance of incorporating “small business hospitality” in healthcare. Most recently, Sage completed her graduate internship with Centura Health in Longmont, Colorado, where she developed a PICC line toolkit based on evidence-based best practices to reduce the number of CLABSIs hospital-wide. She has additional healthcare experience working at a 400-bed advanced tertiary medical center and ambulatory surgery center. Sage believes the integration of healthcare and hospitality is crucial toward the future development of sustainable healthcare systems and is humbled to serve as the Cornell University Healthy Futures: Graduate Chapter’s Co-President.
