Peter Yesawich

Peter C. Yesawich is co-founder of MMGY Global, a marketing communications agency that specializes in serving clients in the travel, leisure, and entertainment industries from offices across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. He also serves as Chairman of Hospitable Healthcare Partners, LLC, a consultancy serving healthcare industry clients focused on enhancing the patient experience.

Yesawich has led the development of marketing programs for some of the travel industry’s most admired brands and popular destinations including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Hilton International, The Leading Hotels of the World, Atlantis, The Breakers, The Broadmoor, Canyon Ranch, Colonial Williamsburg, Sandals, Sensei, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Bermuda Tourist Board, Mexico Tourism Board, Disney Parks & Resorts, Universal Studios, the U.S. Olympic Committee, and .travel.

From 2010 to 2020, Yesawich served as a member of the national board of directors and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) for Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), a national network of specialty hospitals and outpatient clinics treating adults diagnosed with complex or advanced-stage cancer, now part of City of Hope.  CTCA became the most widely recognized cancer care provider in the U.S. and third most admired hospital system in the country during his tenure as CGO.

A frequent commentator on marketing strategy and consumer trends, Yesawich has been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, Time, Newsweek, on National Public Radio, and on the CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, and BBC World television networks. Yesawich is also a frequent contributor to trade and professional journals and co-author of two books: Marketing Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism (Prentice Hall), and Hospitable Healthcare: Just What the Patient Ordered! (Indigo River Press/Simon & Schuster).

Yesawich is the recipient of the World Travel Award conferred by the American Association of Travel Editors, the Albert E. Koehl Award conferred by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, the Silver Medal conferred by the American Advertising Federation, and the Spirit of Hospitality Award conferred by the Destination Marketing Association International (now Destinations International).

He received three degrees from Cornell, including a doctorate in psychology, and did postgraduate work at Yale and Stanford.
