Kejia Hu
Kejia Hu is an Associate Professor in Management Science at the University of Oxford Said School of Business and a trustee of Exeter College of the University of Oxford. She focuses on unlocking business value from data. Hu’s domain expertise lies in service operations, artificial intelligence, and business analytics. She has worked with industrial partners, including L’Oreal, Marriott International, Alibaba, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, with research recognized with several Best Paper Awards at INFORMS, POMS, and MSOM. Previously, she was a Brownlee O. Currey Jr. Dean’s Faculty Fellow and an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and earned her Ph.D. in Operations Management from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She has been recognized as one of the top 40 MBA professors under 40 by Poets & Quants in 2023 and her case Jointown Pharmaceutical Group is named one of the Top 100 MBA Case Studies in China. Hu currently serves on the editorial review board for two Flagship journals in operations management, the Journal of operations Management and Production and Operations Management. Hu also serves as an academic scholar at the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures, on the board of POMS College of Service Operations and the board of INFORMS Service Science section.
