On April 20, 2018, the event Entrepreneurship Opportunities and the Nexus of Hospitality, Health & Design was held at the Statler Hotel’s Amphitheater from 9:00 to 9:50 AM. Hosted by Entrepreneurship at Cornell Celebration and the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures, the session was moderated by Rohit Verma, Executive Director of CIHF, and Brooke Hollis, Associate Director of CIHF. The panel featured speakers Jacky Falkenberg, owner of Nikki Green Restaurant; Alex Susskind, Associate Director of CIHF and Associate Professor at Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration; and Pelin Thorogood, Co-Founder of Mana Artisan Botanics and the Wholistic Research and Education Foundation. The event focused on exploring entrepreneurial opportunities at the intersection of hospitality, health, and design.
