Andrew Jenis
Dr. Andrew Jenis currently serves as one of six vice presidents of the US Acute Care Solutions East & Mountain region.
Dr. Jenis received his medical degree from the State University of New York. He completed a General Surgery Residency and Emergency Medicine Residency at State University of New York at Buffalo.
Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Jenis is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also an ABEM Oral Board examiner and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. Prior to becoming vice president, he served as the Chair and Medical Director for several emergency departments. The most notable being Mercy Chicago Hospital and Medical Center, an urban academic emergency department treating 65,000 patients per year, Stamford Hospital, a Connecticut hospital with 75,000 emergency department visits, and System Medical Director of Emergency Medicine Lake Health System in Ohio. Dr. Jenis has served as a medical director since 2003 and a traveling medical director since 2008.
Outside of the ED, Dr. Jenis enjoys hiking with his wife and two golden retrievers, boating, single track mountain biking and vinyasa yoga.
