Marika (Mika) Xifaras is a first-year student in the Sloan Program in Health Administration. She was born and raised in New England, which she called home until moving to Philadelphia, PA to receive a B.A. in International Studies at Bryn Mawr College. Her interest in healthcare and healthcare access first developed during childhood under the care of her grandparents who placed health above all else. She entered the Sloan Program to begin a career in long term care and learn about best practices in senior care and living. She strongly believes in the mission of Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures and is excited to serve as the CUHFG Vice President of Marketing.
