Nancy Griffin, MMH is a wellness and aging services expert with more than 30 years of experience. She has a Masters in Hospitality Management from Cornell University, where she performed the first classification study on the emerging spa industry for the International Spa Association (ISPA). Specializing in the development of platforms to bring buyers and sellers together, Griffin founded SpaTrade, the industry’s first online community, SpaExec, top-tier buyer regional networking events at luxury resorts. Griffin sold both companies to Questex Media Group in 2008, staying on as Executive Director of Content for the Spa and Wellness Division.
In 2010, she founded Contento Marketing. Leveraging her diverse network and unique storytelling ability, Griffin positions brands for success. With more than 100 speaking engagements and articles, she is a featured speaker for prestigious venues including Cosmoprof Bologna, the International Spa Association Conference, and Luxury Travel Expo.
In August 2020, Griffin segued her career to senior living and aging services, launching the podcast Glowing Older. Now in its 15th season with more than 140 episodes, each episode interviews experts shaping the growing industry—taking an in-depth look at the trends driving growth and innovation at the intersection of hospitality, wellness, and senior living.
In April 2021, she founded SeniorTrade, a online media platform focused on the business of aging well. In March 2023, Griffin founded #ExposeAgeism, a movement to promote positive aging in the beauty and wellness industries. To date more than 40 companies have made the pledge to eliminate the phrase anti-aging in product descriptions and marketing by 2025.
