Chris Tanner joins the institute from Cornell University’s Mann Library where she was a research librarian for 6 years specializing in evidence syntheses and systematic reviews. Prior to coming to Cornell, Chris worked as project manager and international programs coordinator for the USGS National Biological Information Infrastructure. She earned a Master of Science in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology and her professional career has focused on promoting evidence-based research for improved information discovery and decision and policy making. She is excited to continue supporting the translation of innovative interdisciplinary research through her work at CIHF.
