Blake Crawford is a first-year MHA candidate in the Sloan Program in Health Administration. A born and raised Texan, he received his B.S. in Kinesiology with business and psychology minors from Texas A&M University. Before becoming the head administrator of Texas A&M’s sports medicine and human performance research institute, Blake gained experience in hospitality while working up the ranks to become the Front Office Manager at a Hyatt hotel property during his undergraduate career. This accumulation of experiences in healthcare and hospitality ultimately led him to find his passion at the intersection of healthcare, hospitality, and design. As Alumni Chair of the Cornell University Healthy Futures: Graduate Chapter (CUHFGC), Blake is excited to expand the Chapter’s outreach, alumni efforts, and networking opportunities, and continue to explore how hospitality and healthcare intertwine to ultimately create positive healthcare experiences for the future patients.
