Christine has been a Licensed New York State Interior Design Professional since 2001. In 2020, she obtained her EDAC- (Evidence Based Design Accreditation and Certification) in support of diverting her practice to focus on the translation of research to the enhancement of models for older adults to successfully age in community.
In addition to her passion for this grassroots initiative, Christine was invited to participate in a focus group for the Moving Forward -Nursing Home Quality Coalition and has also been a guest on The Green House Project’s Elevate Eldercare podcast. She continues to be an active member of Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures through participation in Reimaging Events.
Christine remains enthusiastic about assisting in the discovery of “pathways to resilience” through community partnerships. She believes we are at a pivotal moment in the reimagination of environments for aging and care delivery. She continues to advocate for the creation and evaluation of “living laboratories” that optimize care delivery, reduce burden on family caregivers, and enable multiple generations to live collaboratively in support of one another.
